Faculty

With some faculty members of national or international reputation, we boast one of the strongest faculties in the province. Among us are 19 full professors, including 4 doctorate advisors, and 32 associate professors. Some professors receive Special Allowance from the State Council of China; some are members of the Education Ministry’s Guiding Committee for Foreign Language Teaching in Higher Education Institutions. Thirty-four faculty members hold PhD degrees. In addition, we enjoy the support of 6 guest professors under the title of “Qiantang Scholar”. Numerous young faculty members have won first prizes in various teaching contests at provincial and national levels.
